在美國 California College of Arts and Crafts 求學的時候，不像之前有兄弟姊妹的陪伴，而是獨自一個人住在宿舍，後來才搬到出租的地方。中間其實得到很多人的照顧。。。。。。

我最近感覺人生中有很多事，不是單靠自己努力就能有所成就的。其中必須仰賴太多太多的人幫忙，太多太多的湊巧和時機，這些很多不是自己能掌控的種種，事後想想其實特別值得感謝。尤其是對我人生幫助很大的貴人！

很久很久以前，在一個破鐵皮屋裡住了一個貧窮的小孩，他的肚子常餓得咕嚕咕嚕叫的。

         Inside every spider's head was a white room. Each morning, when the delicious glittering dew dripped onto the intricate web form, the dark body would go quietly to absorb these vibrating beams from the slowly awakened world. Meditating as it seemed, the furry legs clutched together neatly. The spider learned to let thoughts fly as other wise men would do among the snowy Tibet mountains. Inhale and exhale.

I am a whore of the civilization. 

I obey the big brother; whatever the mass culture wants me to take, I swallow with pleasure. 

I smell like a piece of pork inside the freezer, clean but raw. 

My hair is dyed and curled in a proper saloon. 

My clothes are from the most popular shopping mall in town. 

Most of them are pink to match the color of the season. 

My nails are painted with tiny flowers and butterflies. 

Every two weeks, I pay a visit to the beauty spa. 

I have a job in uniform and a scooter to get around. 

Fuck. I am a whore of the civilization.
I am hungry for the newest fashion, longing to get on the list of fame.
I want to be the star in the neighborhood.
My pride is built on the my craving for the pop culture.
My image is only alive from the reflection of other people's eyes.

我是文明社會的娼妓，總是聽從大人物的指示，
不論大眾文化叫我吃什麼，我都能歡喜吞下肚。

我聞起來就像是塞在冷凍庫的粉紅肉塊，既乾淨又生猛。
頭髮花了我大把銀子，是在最潮的髮廊燙的。
我的衣服是市裡最流行的購物中心買的，絕大多都是粉紅色。
指甲還畫有細小的花朵和蝴蝶。
每兩週我會去趟美容院給身體去角質。
我穿制服工作，騎摩托車上班。

幹，我是文明社會的婊子。
對最新的流行總是充滿渴望，希望成為名人、鄰里家喻戶曉的明星。
我的自尊建立在我對大眾文化的需求上，
只有在他人眼中我才能找到自己的形象。
